Violent Message From Planned Parenthood

A Planned Parenthood cartoon titled "A Superhero for Choice," which is posted on the Web site of the organization's San Francisco branch, shows a man promoting abstinence being drowned and peaceful Christian pro-life protestors being blown away after being encased in condoms (during the closing credits, one protestor is shown being decapitated).

In a statement posted today, Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League's STOPP International wrote: . . . "With its latest marketing gimmick . . . Planned Parenthood is glamorizing violence against people of faith. . . . The hatred and religious bigotry demonstrated by Planned Parenthood in this video are shocking and offensive."

Dawn Eden of The Dawn Patrol posted on her blog today: "Now, I ask you, if the American Life League's Web site featured a cartoon depicting an ALL superhero blowing up nonviolent Planned Parenthood activists, would Planned Parenthood just shrug it off? I think we all know what would happen. There would be an uproar.

To get Dawn's full assessment, scene by scene, see her post "Planned Parenthood Fantasizes About Blowing Up 'Anti-Choicers.'"

I watched the cartoon, and it's just amazing -- not only for the overt violence against Christians, but also for the absurdly crude racial and sexual stereotypes.

Did you notice that all the villains are white men (two of them southern), and the heroes black or ethnic women?

I also noticed that her mask looked a bit like a devil mask and her name was Dionysus which makes me just what are they promoting?

Sigh, It's hard to type with fins!

That last line should be "makes me wonder just what are they promoting?"
